One of the constants in my life has been photography. I started when I was in Jr. High School, and I am nearing my 63rd birthday at this writing. That has translated into thousands of pictures. Here for your enjoyment and critique are some of what I have deemed as my better pictures.

Its been said, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” I feel some are worth even more than that.
In my opinion, a picture should serve one of two purposes. One is to evoke emotion. Joy, sorrow, anger, fear… And, the stronger the feeling generated, the better the picture.
The second is to convey information. Does it show who, what, where, when, or how?
I hope each of my pictures does one or both of these.
And, if one of these pictures does provoke an emotion or you learn something, please leave a comment. I would love to hear them.
